We are the NYU chapter of Scholars of Finance.
We seek to solve the world’s largest problems by investing in undergraduate students through leadership development, mentorship, and the active support of hundreds of purpose-driven finance executives and investors.
Our members then join top firms, funds, and a life-long support community that empowers them to spend their careers serving the greater good using the biggest lever in the world: finance.
Speaker Series
Our Speaker Series events bring together a wide variety of professionals spanning different business areas such as banking, consulting, venture capital, business law, and tech. Speaker Series offer members the unique ability to ask questions and gain insight into potential careers.
Leadership Development
LDP candidates participate in weekly cohort sessions to explore and discuss personal values, ethics, and missions. LDP helps members become successful, principled leaders by encouraging them to show courage through vulnerability and develop character.
Weekly LDP sessions include group discussions, writing assignments, and individual reflection. Candidates will gain access to the NYU and national SOF network and can participate in member-only opportunities, such as professional mentorship, symposium, and workshops.
Symposium
Our symposia bring together students and professionals for a mix of panel discussions and keynote speeches focused on our values.
Mentorship Program
Our Mentorship Program creates 1:1 relationships between students and finance professionals in our network.
